I think this is your best shot. It's very simple, but often simple is best. You had a good eye to see the interesting texture of the wood. The perspective and composition could have been a little better, but you're definitely on the right track... railroad track! The colors on the wood are also nice - sunset is a great time for warm colors and cool shadows. The no particular point of interest in this shot, my eye isn't drawn to any one spot. Keep takin' photos - doin well!
